Why I love my job
I regard my designs as canvases for chefs to work with. To display their delicious dishes and be creative with the art of plating. Therefor I love it when I stumble upon pictures of my plates with beautiful food.
The TEXTURE plates designed for Vista Alegre are an especially good example of my vision on how plates can serve as a blank canvas for chefs. The lovely photos depicted here are from some pretty impressive names in the culinairy scene.

Gorgeous plating by Jean Yves Schillinger and his epynomous two Michelin star restaurant in Colmar, France. I should go there one day... >
This colourful plate is of the skillful hands of Soenil Bahadoer. He is the chef of De Lindenhof** in Nuenen, The Netherlands. Love it!

Finishing touch on this amazing dish that mimics the texture of the plate it is presented on. Or vice versa. A creation of L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon. Speaking of legends.
Simple, clean styling done by Vista Alegre. It makes the texture really pop out.
I'll have this dessert. Food presentation on another level! A creation of Jean Michel Loessel.
