Introverted spectacle
The mortar and pestle movement is central in this glass design. Aromas can be released by grinding herbs or spices. There is something relaxing about the turning of the pestle. In the bottom of the glass is a bulge, a detail that emphasizes the movement. Small holes have been made in the pestle. When the pestle touches the water, the infusion can be clearly seen. An introverted spectacle.

Boroslicate glass
This design started as an autonomous project and has been in production at Serax since 2013. The tea glass is executed in borosilicate glass. This glass is heat and thermo-shock resistant. The double wall gives an extra layering in the design and has an insulating effect.
