Water lets the design speak
Natural laws
This water jug was designed in collaboration with Studi'eau owned by Hanneke Geurts van Kessel. The laws of physics are used in the design. By making this transparent, the content – often tap water – becomes special. It’s as if the jug is going to talk when it is filled.
Level difference
The carafe consists of three parts: water reservoir, pouring tube and vent pipe. Because the top is closed, there is no air pressure in the can. This gives you a level difference in the carafe when it is being filled. The carafe is filled via the pouring tube.
