Stages for the chef

“The art of plating" is the inspiration behind Shapes, offering chefs the opportunity to stage their food. Elevating their presentation so to speak. The loose elements and distinctive forms turn Shapes into a way for the chef to play with their food. This wooden iteration of Shapes is an addition to the previously featured coloured porcelain.

Shapes can be used, individually or combined in multiples. When these items are put together, a rich and varied picture emerges, with the wood complimenting the porcelain line. Making it easier to highlight an individual component, or set up a spectacular buffet.

Theme
The Shapes collection typifies my work as a tableware designer; always offering chefs a canvas for their food, igniting creativity, and letting the food speak through tableware.
